“The open concept bathroom is an extension of our easy way of living” says Bob. “We noticed that many old homes in Europe feature a bathtub that is out in the open beside sunfilled windows under nice mood lighting for evening relaxation.
The shower is made of clear glass that also lets the light in. It’s not hidden away in a small confining room.” They took that design and built a large double Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and a frameless glass shower enclosure and encased them both in marble.
A large antique mirror and dresser were converted to produce a well-lit make-up area that contains plenty of cabinet space. Imagine a Hollywood dressing room 70 years ago.
